What is Memory Walk & Jog?

Memory Walk & Jog is Dementia Australia’s biggest national fundraising event. In 2020, we are hoping to raise $1.3million, with over 8,000 people taking part!

Memory Walk & Jog events bring local communities together, to get active and have some fun, with fancy dress, casual walkers, fast runners and even family dogs. It is also a heart-felt, emotionally impactful day with people coming together and walking for their loved ones, sharing their stories and raising funds to support Dementia Australia’s work.

Walk, jog or run – there’s a Memory Walk & Jog for everyone!

We are coming to you! We are heading to 12 locations across Australia in 2020. We’ve got a distance to suit you, whether you walk, jog or run. It’s a great event for all, so make sure you bring the whole family.

Funds raised will help people with a dementia diagnosis, their families and carers, and to supporting research for future breakthroughs and raising much needed awareness.

Together, we get active, we fundraise, and we step up for people living with dementia to say, ‘you are not alone!’. Memory Walk & Jog is fun for the whole community!

We look forward to seeing you there!
