2019 Dementia Grants Program - Submit Application


2019 Dementia Grants Program - Round 1 NOW OPEN

Up to 14, $75,000 capacity building Project Grants for new, early and mid-career researchers are on offer in Round 1, 2019.

  • 7x Dementia Australia Research Foundation Project Grants including the Dementia Australia Research Foundation - Norma Beaconsfield Project Grant (new, early and mid-career researchers in any area of dementia research)
  • 1x Hazel Hawke Research Grant in Dementia Care (new, early and mid-career researchers in dementia care)
  • 1x Dementia Australia Research Foundation – Victoria Project Grant (new, early and mid-career researchers in clinical or psychosocial areas of dementia research)
  • 5x Dementia Centre for Research Collaboration – Dementia Australia Research Foundation Pilot Grants (new, early and mid-career researchers in clinical or psychosocial areas of dementia research)

 

Supporting documents and required attachments

As well as completing an online application form, applicants must upload the following supporting documents (in PDF format) on the application portal:

  • Official record of PhD or equivalent higher degree
  • Academic CV
  • Detailed Research Proposal
  • Evidence of ethics approval (if available)
  • Endorsement Form(s)

Outcomes will be announced in December 2019.

The Dementia Australia Research Foundation has also partnered with the Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG) Research Trust in 2019, to fund quality applications that seek to improve the lives of older people living with dementia, their families and carers. 2019 Dementia Grants Program - Round 2 OPEN IN SEPTEMBER

A number of PhD Scholarships will be on offer in Round 2, 2019.

Outcomes will be announced in December 2019.

 

Please note that postdoctoral fellowships will not be offered in the 2019 Dementia Grants Program.
