Carer Education

In this workshop we will explore how dementia can change those affected by it, and how it impacts on relationships for the person with the illness and those who care for them. We will focus on the grief and loss that dementia can bring, maintaining well-being, and minimising the impact of challenging behaviours.

Carers WA will be presenting this workshop over the coming months, in partnership with Dementia Australia, in the following locations:

  • Wednesday 7 November - Joondalup Library, Joondalup
  • Tuesday 20 November - Willagee Community Centre
  • Wednesday 12 December - Lotteries House, Armadale
